Iwas born and raised right here in Barrie Ontario and grew up listening to country music. The music was always on in my house and I started singing to songs I heard on the radio and on music videos from the
age of three. I would perform wearing a cowboy hat and a plastic microphone and stand. Country music was what I grew up listening to so that is the music I most identify with but I like a lot of different kinds of music and artists as well. Music was always an important part of my life and as I got older I took piano lessons and eventually guitar but singing and performing is what I have always enjoyed.
When I was ten years old I rode my bike over to a local wing restaurant when I saw a sign that said they had Karaoke on Friday nights. I talked them into letting me sing and I continued to do that every Friday night for years afterwards. When I got to high school I started performing at all the school assemblies and the ‘coffee house’ performances they hosted after school.
I was very close with my family growing up and one year my mom took us to Las Vegas along with some family and friends to see Tim McGraw for my 16 th birthday. It was an incredible night and I ended up
getting invited to the floors by Tim’s mom where Tim actually wished me a happy birthday and shook by
hand from the stage. It was a night I will never forget and made me realize even more that I want to perform live and especially now, busking on the streets of Barrie summer 2022!
I have gainful employment at McDonalds and I really love to meet and greet people but I want to take that to the next level and do busking in the summer, band in the winter and work towards touring after that.
While working on my first music video for my original song Man Made This Town, I raised funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and have also been involved in fundraisers for the Cancer Society. Before COVID I often performed songs at Mill Creek Care Centre as a non profit entertainer.
